In a UEFA Nations League match held at Fortuna Arena on Tuesday, England secured a 2-0 victory against Czechia, thanks to goals from Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane. Following a narrow 3-2 defeat to Spain, the English team has bounced back, gaining momentum ahead of their upcoming match against Croatia in Rijeka on October 3, as reported by a sports channel.

The match saw Pavel Sulc receive a red card in the first half for a foul on Elliot Anderson. After a scoreless first half, Anthony Gordon opened the scoring just two minutes into the second half. He capitalized on a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, marking his third consecutive competitive goal. Later, Harry Kane found the net after a scramble for the ball, swiftly converting it into the far corner.


Spain's Dominance Over Croatia

In another UEFA Nations League encounter, Spain triumphed over Croatia with a score of 4-1, propelled by a remarkable brace from Lamine Yamal. This victory marked Spain's 40th consecutive match without a loss, solidifying their status as the reigning European and FIFA World Cup champions. The first half showcased Spain's dominance, while the second half proved to be more competitive.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the second minute, with assistance from Marc Cucurella and Fermin Lopez, firing past goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. Croatia equalized in the 28th minute through a header from Dion Drena Beljo, following a cross from Ivan Perisic. However, just three minutes later, Lamine restored Spain's lead with a header from a cross by Marc Pubil. By halftime, Spain led 2-1. Lamine scored again in the 63rd minute, and Nico Williams capped off the scoring with a curling shot into the far corner.
