When it comes to marriage, many men prioritize the beauty of their future wives. This desire often leads to a quest for the perfect partner. A software engineer from Delhi recently found himself in a troubling situation while pursuing this dream.

The engineer, named Amit Banjara, was eager to marry a beautiful woman and turned to Google for assistance. His online search led him to discover the concept of contract marriages, which he learned were prevalent in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. Driven by this newfound information, he traveled from Delhi to Shivpuri in hopes of finding his bride.

Seeking Help in an Unknown City

Upon arriving in Shivpuri, Amit realized he knew no one in the area. He sought help from a local auto-rickshaw driver, who agreed to assist him. The driver, Rahul Goswami, took Amit to meet a woman named Kiran, who inquired about his intentions.

Following their conversation, Rahul suggested they head to a place called Barodi, where Amit was introduced to a man named Monu. Monu assured Amit that he could arrange a marriage with a girl from the Bedhiya community, and soon after, Amit found himself married in a temple ceremony.

Caught in a Web of Deceit

Unbeknownst to Amit, he had fallen into a trap set by a gang that specialized in extortion. The family of the girl he married began to harass him for money shortly after the wedding. They demanded cash and threatened to take over his assets.

Amit reported that the family was pressuring him to transfer his bank fixed deposits into their name and threatened him with violence if he refused. Distressed by the situation, Amit has reached out to the police for assistance.
