ED Conducts Raids Linked to Sanjeev Arora


New Delhi/Ludhiana: On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) executed searches at various locations associated with Punjab's industries minister, Sanjeev Arora, along with several other individuals as part of an ongoing investigation, according to officials.


The agency's operations are taking place in Ludhiana and other areas, as confirmed by sources.


Arora, who is affiliated with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was previously subjected to ED raids in 2024.


The agency has alleged that businesses connected to Arora and other parties have inflicted significant financial losses on the state government and have generated substantial illicit profits through the improper use of industrial land for residential developments.


Recently, the federal investigative body also conducted searches under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) at the properties of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Kumar Mittal and his educational institutions located in Punjab and Haryana.
