Empowering Workplaces: State-Level Training on the POSH Act in Bhubaneswar

The event, led by a key official from the Women Empowerment and Advocacy Section, aimed to equip master trainers from various districts with the necessary skills to implement the act effectively. Training Session on the POSH Act


Bhubaneswar: A significant training program focused on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act of 2013, commonly referred to as the POSH Act, took place at the State Institute for Women and Children on Thursday.


The event was inaugurated by the additional secretary from the Women Empowerment and Advocacy Section, who highlighted the importance of creating safe and inclusive work environments, backed by robust institutional frameworks.


This workshop aimed to prepare master trainers from various districts to effectively implement the provisions of the POSH Act.
