Chief Minister's Commitment to Women's Empowerment

Udaipur/Jaiipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the state government is dedicated to uplifting the poor, youth, farmers, and women. He noted that their suggestions have been incorporated into the state budget. The Chief Minister stated that the Gram Vikas Chaupal programs are steering development in a new direction across the state.

Initiatives for Women's Empowerment

While addressing the Gram Vikas Chaupal program in Bida village, Udaipur, the Chief Minister highlighted various initiatives aimed at women's empowerment, including the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign, toilet construction, and the Ujjwala scheme providing gas cylinders. He mentioned that bicycles, scooters, and uniforms are being provided to girls for better education.

Support for Women Through Welfare Schemes

The Chief Minister stated that women are benefiting from various welfare schemes, including a subsidy of ₹5 per liter under the Mukhyamantri Dugdh Utpadak Sambal Yojana. Additionally, elderly mothers are receiving pensions, and pregnant women are being supported through the Maa Voucher scheme.

He also mentioned that through Rajivika, women are receiving training, enabling them to become economically independent. The Prime Minister's initiative, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, aims to enhance women's representation.

Community Engagement and Cultural Welcome

Upon arriving at the event, local artists welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional dance performances. He encouraged their enthusiasm.

Voices of Empowered Women

A participant shared, 'The CRP team connected me with SHGs and provided training. Today, I have helped establish 35 groups in my village and have become a master trainer, earning a substantial income.' - Gayatri Suthar.

Another woman recounted, 'Joining the SHG in 2014 transformed my life. I took loans to start goat farming, earning over ₹1 lakh in a year.' - Meera Devi.

Rekha Meghwal expressed gratitude for the training she received, which improved her financial situation significantly.

The event was attended by Tribal Regional Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, MP Mannalal Rawat, MLA Pratap Lal Bheel, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, and a large number of villagers.
