Empowering Citizen Participation: A Platform for Unsung Heroes

Jaipur. On Sunday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma joined tribal women in listening to the 136th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's radio program, 'Mann Ki Baat', in Sanganer, Jaipur. He remarked that 'Mann Ki Baat' has become a significant medium connecting millions of citizens with positive thinking, nation-building, and citizen participation.

During the program, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the bravery and supreme sacrifice of the nation's soldiers on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, stating that their valor serves as an inspiration for patriotism and duty for every Indian. He highlighted India's growing capabilities in defense production, indigenous technology, and innovation, emphasizing the increasing global trust in Indian defense equipment and technology.

The Prime Minister called for citizen involvement in initiatives like water conservation, environmental protection, 'One Tree in the Name of Mother', 'Vocal for Local', khadi, handicrafts, and local products, asserting that these campaigns form a strong foundation for a developed India. He noted that the collective strength, positive mindset, and active participation of 1.4 billion citizens are essential for realizing the vision of a developed India.

Chief Minister Sharma stated that the Prime Minister brings forth inspiring stories of ordinary citizens making remarkable contributions in areas such as society, education, women's empowerment, environmental protection, agriculture, innovation, and public service. This fosters a renewed energy for a culture of service, dedication, and innovation.

He emphasized the Prime Minister's focus on women's empowerment, the ideals of national heroes, the role of youth, and the importance of citizen participation in building a developed India. He urged every citizen to enthusiastically participate in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations and to engage in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and Tiranga Yatras from August 9 to 14.

According to the Chief Minister, 'Mann Ki Baat' has become an effective platform for giving national recognition to the unsung heroes of the country. The Prime Minister highlights the excellent work done by teachers in remote villages, NGOs, women's self-help groups, farmers, youth, and social organizations, inspiring people across the nation to contribute to societal welfare.

He noted that the Prime Minister's dialogue strengthens the sense of responsibility, social concern, and public service among citizens. Through 'Mann Ki Baat', positive initiatives happening across the country receive a national platform, further enhancing citizen participation in building a developed, self-reliant, and empowered India.

Many public representatives, tribal women, and citizens were present at the event, including MLA Gopichand Meena.

Chief Minister Engages in Dialogue

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also interacted with the public at the Sanganer camp office during the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, urging that the benefits of the welfare schemes of the double-engine government reach the last person. He stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the country and the state are continuously progressing. He mentioned that significant projects like the Yamuna Water Agreement and Jaipur Metro Phase-2 are progressing rapidly. The state is moving towards water self-sufficiency, and Rajasthan has been supplying electricity to other states for the past three months. Rajasthan has also achieved first place in road construction performance in the country. Regarding youth, the Chief Minister noted that appointment letters have been issued to 178,000 candidates, with recruitment processes ongoing for another 100,000 positions. Exams have been conducted transparently without any paper leaks. Many public representatives and citizens, including Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Baid, were present during this event.
