It features a nursery student from the village of Saide, near Mamdot in Firozpur, who expresses his sorrowful predicament to his teacher, stating that he couldn't complete his homework because there was no flour at home, and he hadn't eaten any bread.


Teacher Moved to Tears by Child's Words


After the video gained traction, the teacher shared that the child was innocently explaining why he couldn't do his schoolwork. The boy revealed that due to a lack of flour at home, no food was prepared, and he went hungry. Hearing his words brought tears to the teacher's eyes. The teacher, Lakhwinder Singh, mentioned that the child's name is Amrit, a mere five years old, studying in the nursery class at the local government school.


Child Sent to School on an Empty Stomach


Amrit's family is struggling financially. If his father finds work, they can prepare meals, but when he is unemployed, they often go to bed hungry. Amrit's mother recounted that on that particular day, she noticed there was no flour at home when sending her children to school. She attempted to borrow flour from two nearby houses but was unsuccessful, forcing her to send her son Amrit to school without any food.
