Eighteen New Members Join Congress, Strengthening Party's Expansion Efforts

New Delhi, August 5 - On Wednesday, the Congress party welcomed 18 individuals, including former bureaucrats, lawyers, and representatives from various political and social organizations. This move has been described as a significant step towards expanding the party's organizational reach.
The induction ceremony took place in the presence of key party figures such as Pawan Khera, head of the media and publicity department, Rajendra Pal Gautam, in charge of Uttar Pradesh, Anil Jaihind, president of the OBC department, and Lok Sabha member Rakesh Rathore.
Among those joining Congress are former Bahujan Samaj Party leader Anup Kumar Ambedkar, Supreme Court advocates Mayank Yadav and Shrey Yadav, former PCS officer from Uttar Pradesh Sunil Kumar Verma, retired IAS officer from Punjab cadre Chaudhary Khushi Ram, former IPS officer B.P. Ashok from Uttar Pradesh cadre, farmer leader Rohit Jakhar, retired Kerala DGP Sudesh Kumar, former Aam Aadmi Party social media head Waqas Chaudhary, and former national secretary of the Rashtriya Lok Dal Savitri Gautam.
