A Shocking Turn of Events in Kannauj

In a recent incident highlighting the complexities of marital relationships, a newlywed woman in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, attempted to flee with her lover shortly after her marriage. This dramatic event unfolded when the couple was out to collect her mark sheet.

The husband, realizing his wife's intentions, pursued her only to be confronted and assaulted by her lover and his friends. The situation escalated into a public spectacle on the highway, drawing a crowd of onlookers. The incident occurred on Wednesday when the wife had convinced her husband to accompany her to a college for her mark sheet.

According to the husband, who resides in a village near Jasoida, he had married the woman about a month ago. While they were on their way, she asked him to wait outside the college, claiming she would be right back. Moments later, he spotted her leaving in an auto-rickshaw with another man. When he intervened, he was attacked by the man and his companions, who allegedly stole his gold chain, ring, and ₹18,000. The wife also reportedly engaged in abusive behavior towards him.

Upon receiving the report, local police arrived at the scene and managed to calm the situation. They took all parties involved to the police station for further investigation. The husband has filed a complaint with the police, who have promised to look into the matter.

A Separate Attack in Amroha

In a related incident in Amroha, a wife, in collusion with her lover, launched a deadly attack on her husband using a sharp weapon. After the assault, the couple fled the scene with ₹24,000 in cash that was kept at home, leaving the husband severely injured.
