A Shocking Turn of Events in Kannauj


Recently, a new incident has emerged amidst the rising number of conflicts between husbands and wives. In Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, a woman who had been married for just a month attempted to elope with her lover while out with her husband.


When the husband caught up with them, the lover and his friends assaulted him. The wife also created a scene on the highway, attracting a crowd for quite some time. This incident unfolded on Wednesday when the wife had accompanied her husband to collect her mark sheet.


A local man from Talgram police station shared that he had married a girl from a nearby village about a month ago. He had taken his wife on his bike to a college in Jasoida to pick up her mark sheet. The wife asked him to wait outside, claiming she would be right back. However, moments later, he spotted her leaving in an e-rickshaw with another man. Upon chasing them down, he was attacked by the man and his friends, who allegedly stole his gold chain, ring, and ₹18,000. The wife also behaved inappropriately towards him.


Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and managed to calm the situation. They took everyone to the police station. The victim has filed a complaint with the local police, who have promised to investigate the matter.


Another Attack in Amroha

In a separate incident in Amroha, a wife, in collusion with her lover, launched a deadly attack on her husband using a sharp weapon. After the assault, they left the victim bleeding and fled with ₹24,000 in cash from the house. The police, alerted to the situation, rushed the injured man to a community health center. Doctors provided initial treatment but, noting the severity of his condition, referred him to a higher center. The police are currently investigating the case and searching for the suspects.
