Dr. Anjali Garg has officially taken over as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kangra. The previous SDM, Ishant Jaswal, has transitioned to the role of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) in Una, where he wished Dr. Garg success in her new position.

Upon her arrival in office, Dr. Garg made a visit to the historic Vajreshwari Temple to seek divine blessings. She participated in prayer rituals led by the senior priest, accompanied by Kangra Tehsildar Prakash Chand.

In her remarks, Dr. Garg emphasized her commitment to identifying and tackling the significant challenges facing Kangra. She is a member of the 2023 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the Himachal Pradesh cadre.
