Donald Trump's Humorous Remarks on Cuba During Speech
Trump's Lighthearted Comments on Cuba
During a recent speech at the Forum Club of Palm Beaches, former President Donald Trump jokingly suggested that the U.S. Navy might seize Cuba while returning from Iran. He remarked, "There are issues in Cuba," while frequently straying from the main topic.
Trump elaborated, stating, "As we return from Iran, we will have a large aircraft carrier, possibly the USS Abraham Lincoln, which is the world's largest. It will stop about 100 yards off the coast, and they will say, 'Thank you very much. We surrender.'"
For months, the Trump administration has been pressuring the Cuban government to implement significant reforms. Throughout this period, Trump has repeatedly threatened military action against Cuba to achieve U.S. objectives.
