Discovery of Pakistani Flag and Balloons Causes Alarm in Chamba District

A recent discovery of a Pakistani flag and over 30 balloons in the Churah subdivision of Chamba district has caused significant alarm among local residents. The balloons, some of which bore the slogan 'Dil Dil Pakistan,' were found in the Shurnala area, leading to immediate police involvement. Authorities are currently investigating the origins of these items, which have raised concerns about security in the region. The local community is calling for heightened vigilance as the investigation unfolds.
 

Panic Erupts in Churah Subdivision


Residents in the Churah subdivision of Chamba district experienced a wave of panic after a Pakistani flag and over 30 balloons were found in the Shurnala area of Gram Panchayat Himgiri on Sunday.


Locals reported that the balloons featured the phrase “Dil Dil Pakistan.” While some balloons had burst upon hitting trees, many others remained undamaged. Alarmed by the discovery, the villagers promptly alerted the authorities.


Upon receiving the alert, a team from Tissa Police Station quickly arrived at the scene to confiscate the balloons, flag, and other related items for further investigation.


Superintendent of Police Chamba, Vijay Kumar Saklani, confirmed the incident, stating:


“Police teams reached the location and secured the balloons and flag. Further investigation is underway.”


The unexpected sighting of the Pakistani flag and balloons has unsettled the local community, prompting calls for increased vigilance. Authorities are currently analyzing the seized items and investigating how they came to be in the area.
