The April 10, 2026 edition of L’Espresso showcased an image of an armed Israeli individual filming a Palestinian woman during what the magazine referred to as a raid in the occupied West Bank. Titled “L’Abuso” (The Abuse), the issue criticized Israeli military operations across Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria. The cover caption accused Israeli leadership of pursuing a “Greater Israel” agenda, highlighting alleged annexation attempts, ongoing military actions, and their impact on civilians across various regions.
