Devotees Gather for Annual Fair at Kalka Mata Temple in Shamirpur

A Day of Devotion at Kalka Mata Temple


Today, the Kalka Mata Temple in Shamirpur was filled with an overwhelming sense of devotion as thousands of worshippers came together for the annual fair. The air was filled with the resonant chants of “Jai Mata Di”, as families gathered to pray for peace, prosperity, and overall well-being.


To accommodate the influx of devotees, the Kalka Bus Service Shamirpur offered complimentary transportation from various locations including Gaggal, Jamanabad, Tiara, Kangra, and Dehria, making it easier for pilgrims traveling from afar.


Temple priests, including Jivan Goswami, Ajay Mankotia, Deepak Mankotia, Keshav Mankotia, Rishi Dhiman, and Gurbachan Das, announced that a grand bhandara (community feast) was held for all attendees. Many devotees enjoyed the sacred meal and received blessings in the form of prasada.
