Today, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal conducted an inspection of several educational institutions, including Government Middle School Pundla, Government Central School Kolka, and Government Senior Secondary School Kolka. His visit focused on assessing the academic facilities, student progress, and the overall environment within these schools.
During the visit, the DC interacted directly with students, asking about their studies, the facilities available to them, and their personal interests. He encouraged them to engage in consistent learning, uphold discipline, and manage their time effectively, emphasizing that overall development is just as crucial as academic success.
Repswal reviewed students' notebooks and classwork, providing essential guidance to teachers. He stressed the need for regular practice sessions tailored to individual student requirements and called for special attention to those who may be struggling. Additionally, he underscored the significance of maintaining cleanliness, discipline, and a safe, supportive learning environment in schools.
The Deputy Commissioner also spoke with parents, inviting their suggestions for enhancing educational standards and school management. He urged them to take an active role in their children's education and to maintain close communication with the schools.
Repswal directed school management to maximize the use of available resources and implement effective measures to ensure quality education.
The inspection was attended by BDO Mehla Basheer Khan, OSD Umakant, along with the principals and head teachers of the schools involved.
