Incident Sparks Outrage in Lalapura


Jaipur/Lalapura. A delegation from the All India Bairwa Mahasabha met with the Inspector General (IG) of Police in Jaipur to demand a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible for damaging the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in Lalapura village. Recently, an unknown individual vandalized the statue, leading to heightened tensions in the area. This act has incited significant anger among the Dalit community and local residents, who view Ambedkar not only as a great leader but also as a symbol of social justice, equality, and the Constitution. The destruction of his statue has deeply hurt the sentiments of the community.


Following the incident, locals and members of the Dalit community expressed dissatisfaction with the police response. Representatives from the community highlighted that the lack of prompt action has fostered a sense of unrest. In light of this, the All India Bairwa Mahasabha decided to escalate the matter to higher authorities. During their meeting with the IG in Jaipur, the delegation detailed the events surrounding the vandalism and urged for the swift identification and arrest of the perpetrators. They also called for a fair and transparent investigation to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.


The delegation included prominent figures such as Dausa MLA Deendayal Bairwa, National President of the All India Bairwa Mahasabha Ramdayal Barodia, National Additional General Secretary Dharmaraj Bagdwa, State General Secretary Hariram Nagarwal, and State Executive Member Hiralal Hudla.


All officials unanimously stressed the need for the administration to take this sensitive issue seriously and ensure that the offenders face stringent legal consequences. They emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar, as the architect of the Constitution, holds immense reverence among millions in the country. Any tampering or vandalism of his statues disrupts social harmony. Prompt action in such cases helps maintain public trust.


The IG listened attentively to the delegation's concerns and assured them that necessary actions would be taken. He reiterated that maintaining law and order is a priority for the administration and that a fair investigation would be conducted. Strict measures would be implemented against those found guilty.


During the meeting, the Mahasabha officials urged the community to remain calm and composed, encouraging them to trust the judicial process and cooperate with the authorities. They expressed hope that the case would be resolved soon and that justice would be served according to the law.
