The meteorological department has predicted the possibility of rain accompanied by thunder in Delhi on Sunday. The minimum temperature recorded in the national capital today is 25.1 degrees Celsius. According to weather officials, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

Humidity and Air Quality Index

At 8:30 AM, the relative humidity in Delhi was noted to be 100 percent. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported that the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital stands at 85, which falls under the 'satisfactory' category.

Understanding the AQI Scale

As per the CPCB, an AQI ranging from 0 to 50 is classified as 'good', 51 to 100 as 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 as 'moderate', 201 to 300 as 'poor', 301 to 400 as 'very poor', and 401 to 500 as 'severe'.
