On Wednesday, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta revealed that the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship (CTTC 2026) is scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 2, 2026, at Thyagraj Stadium in New Delhi, according to a press release from the Education Minister's office.

This championship is a collaborative effort between the Delhi Government and the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI). It marks a significant return of high-profile international sports events to New Delhi. Athletes and officials from over 35 Commonwealth nations, including England, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Scotland, Wales, Nigeria, Kenya, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago, are anticipated to participate. This edition is expected to be one of the largest in the history of the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship.
