Investigation into Jewelry Theft
The Delhi Police have successfully resolved a case involving the alleged theft of jewelry worth nearly one crore rupees by members of the infamous 'Thak-Thak Gang' from a parked vehicle. An official provided this update on Friday.
According to police reports, the incident took place last month in the Karol Bagh area. So far, approximately 35 lakh rupees worth of jewelry has been recovered.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 31-year-old T. Sharad Kumar, a resident of Tamil Nadu. He was apprehended on December 15 in the Nizamuddin area following an analysis of CCTV footage. Police confirmed that he is a member of the notorious 'Thak-Thak Gang.'
