The girl became so infatuated with a boy she met through this call that she decided to run away, leaving her single mother behind. The 17-year-old's sudden disappearance left her mother in distress, especially since her father had passed away seven years earlier. This incident took place in the Samaypur Badli area of Delhi.


Police Investigation

The girl's mother reported her disappearance to the Delhi Police. Following her complaint, a case was registered, and due to the minor status of the girl, the investigation was handed over to the Crime Branch. The police were also concerned about the mother's well-being, prompting them to initiate a thorough investigation.


Successful Recovery

Girl Abandons Mother Given the sensitive nature of the case, the Crime Branch took charge and worked tirelessly, analyzing mobile call data records (CDR) to locate the victim. Eventually, the girl was found in the Delhi Cantonment area. The investigation revealed that she was illiterate and had been working as a maid since her father's death. She had connected with the boy through a wrong number call, and they had been in contact ever since. On October 28 of the previous year, she left home without informing her mother. Fortunately, the Delhi Police managed to reunite the girl with her mother, who was overwhelmed with emotion upon seeing her daughter again.
