The temperature at Ridge Station was 4.5 degrees Celsius, and Ayanagar saw a low of 2.7 degrees Celsius. This temperature in Palam is the lowest since 2010, with the second-lowest being 2.6 degrees Celsius on January 7, 2013.
Cold Wave Continues in Delhi
All weather stations in Delhi reported temperatures significantly below normal, indicating that the cold wave conditions are likely to persist throughout the city. The national capital has been under the grip of a cold wave for the past four days, and this trend is expected to continue tomorrow.

According to the weather department, relief from the cold is unlikely in the next 24 hours. However, a slight increase in temperature may occur starting Friday due to the influence of a western disturbance.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 21 degrees Celsius. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported that Delhi's air quality remains in the 'very poor' category, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 349. The AQI scale categorizes levels from 'good' (0-50) to 'severe' (401-500).
