Rahul would ride a stolen two-wheeler with his wife and together they would snatch chains from unsuspecting victims. After committing the theft, they would abandon the motorcycle.

According to police reports, a woman lodged a complaint at the Rani Bagh police station stating that a couple on a motorcycle had snatched her gold chain. The victim was on her way to an aerobics center near Rishi Nagar when the thieves approached her on a scooter. The female suspect, dressed in a pink suit, pulled the chain from the victim's neck while her partner sped away on the bike. A case was registered against the accused at the Rani Bagh police station.
