Delhi Chief Minister Launches Finisher Medal for 2026 Half Marathon

On Wednesday, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta introduced the finisher medal for the upcoming Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 during an event at the Delhi Secretariat, as reported by the Chief Minister's Office. This much-anticipated marathon is scheduled for October 18.


Promoting Health and Community Engagement

The marathon aims to foster fitness, healthy living, sportsmanship, and community involvement. It will commence at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, covering a lengthy route before concluding at the same location. Various categories will be available, including the Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run, and Champions with Disability Run.

During the event, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized that the half marathon has evolved beyond a mere sporting event; it now embodies the vibrant energy, diversity, and public engagement of Delhi.
