Delegation Seeks Approval for New National Highway in Haripur

Delegation Meets Former Union Minister for Highway Approval


Sudhanshu Sharma from Haripur reports that a group led by Sanjay Guleria recently convened with Shri Anurag Thakur, a former Union Minister and current Lok Sabha MP, at the PWD Rest House in Haripur. The purpose of their meeting was to advocate for the urgent approval of a proposed 90 km National Highway that would link Jwalamukhi, Dehra, Nagrota Surian, Jawali, Raja Ka Talab, and Jasur.


During the discussion, the delegation emphasized the importance of Shri Thakur engaging with Shri Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, to expedite the project's approval.


Notable attendees included G.S. Bedi, the Panchayati Raj Cell District President, along with Jaswant Singh, President of the BJP Kisan Morcha Mandal, and former Block Committee Vice President Balbir Pathania. Others present were Ravinder Guleria Bittu, Kamal, Anshul Sharma, Ramswaroop Sharma, Jagdeep Guleria, and representatives from Jawali, including Sethi Thakur, Ketan, Akhil Manhas, Sumit Parmar, Lovely Thakur, Rajneesh, and Sandeep Pathania.
