Deadly Parking Dispute in Florida: Woman Shoots Army Veteran
Tragic Incident at Walmart Parking Lot
A tragic confrontation over a parking space outside a Walmart in North Lauderdale, Florida, escalated into violence on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, a woman allegedly shot and killed 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo during a heated argument. The dispute began as a verbal exchange in the parking lot before it turned deadly. Investigators reported that the woman drew a firearm and shot Diguglielmo once in the abdomen.
Diguglielmo, a resident of Lauderhill and a retired US Army staff sergeant originally from New Jersey, was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Family members confirmed his identity and highlighted his background as a former trauma nurse.
Local media obtained video footage showing the argument between the two before the woman fired the shot, causing Diguglielmo to collapse. Another video circulating online appears to depict the woman aiming her weapon at him while instructing him to 'walk away.'
