Deadline Extended for Supreme Court's Special Lok Adalat Applications

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Kangra has announced an extension for submitting applications related to cases pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India under the Samadhan Samaroh (Special Lok Adalat) 2026. The new deadline is now set for 31st July, 2026.
Secretary Shri R. Mihul Sharma highlighted that this initiative provides litigants with a significant chance to resolve their outstanding issues amicably through mediation and mutual agreement. The Special Lok Adalat, which commenced on 21st April, 2026, aims to enhance access to swift justice for everyone.
To encourage participation, a straightforward Google Form has been made available on the official Supreme Court website. Interested parties must complete and submit the form by the new deadline to have their cases reviewed for potential settlement.
