Vibrant Children's Day Celebration at D.A.V. Public School Gohju

Gohju — The D.A.V. Public School in Gohju celebrated Children's Day with an exciting array of sports events, cultural displays, and student recognitions. The event was honored by the presence of Shri Keval Singh Pathania, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Himachal Government and MLA of Shahpur, alongside School Manager Dr. Vipin Justu and Committee Member Vichitra Singh.


Tribute and Inauguration


The celebration commenced with a floral tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, led by Shri Pathania, followed by the official opening of the sports meet.


Student Recognitions



  • The top three achievers of the 2024–25 Class 10 board exams were awarded ₹500 each.


  • A generous donation of ₹11,000 was presented to the school by the Chief Guest.


  • Ritika Chaudhary was acknowledged for achieving the 7th rank in the state.


  • Vanya Dixit received ₹5,000 for her accomplishments in the National Games.
