In a notable effort to improve traffic safety in the bustling tourist destination of Dalhousie, two local educational institutions have made significant contributions. Guru Nanak Public School and Dalhousie Public School have provided traffic cones and barricades to assist the local police, which are now being strategically placed at critical intersections and high-traffic areas throughout the town.
These donated items are anticipated to be instrumental in managing the increased vehicle flow, particularly during peak tourist seasons, thus enhancing the organization and safety of traffic movement.
Mayank Sharma, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Dalhousie, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Captain G.S. Dhillon, the Chairman of Dalhousie Public School, and Principal Navdeep Bhandari of Guru Nanak Public School for their generous support. He highlighted the importance of such collaborative efforts from various community sectors in promoting discipline and safety within the town.
