Dalhousie Public School Shines at Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress 2026

Dalhousie Public School (DPS) made a significant mark at the 33rd Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress 2026, securing five first positions in both the Mathematical Olympiad and Science Quiz. With students excelling in various categories, they are now set to represent their school at the District Level. Chairman Dr. G. S. Dhillon praised their achievements, highlighting the commitment of both students and teachers. Outstanding Achievements at the Science Congress

Dalhousie Public School (DPS) showcased exceptional talent during the 33rd Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress (HPCSC) 2026, which took place on September 18–19 at PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School in Dalhousie. Competing against over 15 schools, DPS students achieved five First Positions in both the Mathematical Olympiad and Science Quiz.


In the Mathematical Olympiad, Guransh emerged victorious in the Junior Category, while Kartikeyn claimed the Senior Category title, and Shaurya excelled in the Senior Secondary Category. The Science Quiz saw Rutansh and Akul take first place in the Junior Category, with Harsh and Vivaan leading in the Senior Category.


All five winners are now set to represent DPS Dalhousie at the District Level.


Chairman and Director Dr. (Capt.) G. S. Dhillon expressed his pride in the students, stating: “This achievement highlights our students’ curiosity, hard work, and the dedicated support from their teachers. We are extremely proud and wish them the best of luck at the District Level.”


He further emphasized that DPS Dalhousie is dedicated to nurturing scientific thinking and providing students with opportunities to excel beyond traditional classroom settings.
