During the event, Dr. Poonam Dhawan, President of Dalhousie Hilltop School, underscored the significance of sports in a child's holistic development.
“At Dalhousie Hilltop School, we believe that education transcends the classroom. The sports field is where children uncover their strengths, conquer their fears, learn teamwork, and cultivate resilience to tackle life's challenges. Every child who steps onto the field, regardless of winning a medal, is a champion in our eyes. Our aim is not just to create sports champions but to foster confident, disciplined, and well-rounded individuals,” she stated.
She further emphasized that the school’s focus on holistic education, physical fitness, and active involvement is crucial to its philosophy of providing every child with opportunities to explore and develop their potential.
