Chamba – The Star Night cultural event in Sihunta, organized by the Chhinj Mela Committee, saw a vibrant display of local culture with Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania as the chief guest. The event attracted a large crowd of locals and dignitaries, showcasing the rich traditions of the region.


During his address, Speaker Pathania spoke about the importance of preserving the state's folk traditions and cultural heritage. He remarked, “Himachal Pradesh, known as the land of gods and warriors, boasts a diverse array of customs and folk arts that embody the unity and spirit of its people.” He emphasized that traditional music and dance continue to connect generations, fostering a shared cultural identity.


The Speaker praised the Chhinj Mela Committee for their dedication to maintaining the region's heritage through such lively events. The evening featured an array of cultural performances, with local artists captivating the audience with their dynamic dances and harmonious musical acts.


Notable attendees included Chela Krishan Chand from the State Forest Corporation Board, SDM Paras Aggarwal, DSP Yograj, DFO Rajneesh Mahajan, and Jal Shakti engineer Rakesh Thakur. The presence of local representatives and numerous residents contributed to the event's success.
