Three individuals are currently being considered for the role of General Secretary.
Bajrang Bagda, the General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), who is a chartered accountant and has previously served as the chairman of NALCO.
Neeraj Dauneriya, the National Convenor of Bajrang Dal, who has been actively involved in the Ram Temple movement for several years.
Krishna Mohan, a retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer and former RSS chief of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

This meeting was initially planned to take place at 'Mani Ram Das Chawani', but has now been relocated to the guest house within the Ram Temple complex. This change was made due to security concerns and the anticipated influx of media personnel. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the Trust's president, will preside over the meeting. Most trustees are expected to attend in person, while senior lawyer K. Parasaran will join virtually. Champat Rai and Anil Mishra will also be present.

Review of SIT Report on Donation Misappropriation
In addition to the resignations, the Trust will review the interim report from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the alleged donation misappropriation case. Following the escalation of the controversy, Champat Rai resigned from his position on June 26. Subsequently, the Ayodhya police interrogated him and Anil Mishra as part of the investigation.
