Gorakhpur, June 22: A deeply disturbing event has unfolded in Gorakhpur district, Uttar Pradesh, where a 16-year-old boy is accused of murdering his older brother, sister-in-law, and their three-year-old child using a sharp weapon. This horrific act reportedly occurred around 3 A.M. on Monday.

Upon learning of the incident, law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene to begin their investigation. The deceased were sent for autopsy, and the suspect was apprehended. Senior police officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the Superintendent of Police (South), visited the site to oversee the investigation.

Initial police reports indicate that the murders stemmed from a family conflict. The victims have been identified as Amit Gupta, his spouse Ranjana Gupta, and their son Reyan Gupta.

The Bansgaon police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) following a complaint from Amit Gupta's father and have commenced legal action against the suspect. Authorities have also recovered the weapon believed to have been used in the crime.

SP (South) Dinesh Puri stated that the police were alerted to the triple homicide around 3 A.M. Following this, local officers and senior officials arrived at the location, and a forensic team was summoned to gather evidence.

Investigations revealed that Amit Gupta, Ranjana, and Reyan were asleep in the same room when the accused allegedly attacked them with the sharp weapon, resulting in their deaths.

The complaint was filed by the father of the deceased, after which the bodies were secured and sent for autopsy. The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation by the police.
