Bhopal, Nov 2: A deeply disturbing event has unfolded in Madhya Pradesh, where a 35-year-old man is suspected of murdering his mother, wife, and two young children at their home in Bhopal, before reportedly taking his own life by jumping in front of a train, according to initial police reports released on Monday.

This tragic occurrence was discovered on Monday in the Chhola Mandir police jurisdiction of Bhopal, the state capital.

Initially thought to be a mass suicide, the investigation revealed that Narendra Sahu is believed to have killed four family members prior to his own death.

The victims, all found with their throats cut, were located in their apartment within a multi-storey building near the Gaur Marriage Garden area of Bhopal.

Subsequently, the body of Narendra Sahu was located on the railway tracks in the Chopra Kalan region, falling under the Sukhia Sewania police area. So far, no suicide note has been discovered at the scene.

The deceased have been identified as Narendra Sahu's mother, Saraswati Sahu (50), his wife, Somlata Sahu (29), and their children, Kriti Sahu (10) and Khush Sahu (6).

Preliminary reports suggest that Narendra Sahu may have taken the lives of his family members before ending his own.
