The accused, a 30-year-old woman named Disha Ramtek, had a husband suffering from paralysis who was undergoing treatment. During this period, Disha became involved with her lover, Asif, also known as Raja Babu Tyrewala. However, her husband, Chandrasen, became an obstacle in their relationship. Upon discovering the affair, a heated argument ensued between Disha and Chandrasen.
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Frustrated by the situation, Disha and Asif devised a sinister plan. One night, while Chandrasen was asleep, they plotted his murder. Disha restrained her husband in bed while Asif suffocated him. Following the incident, Disha informed the police that her husband's death was due to illness.
Truth Revealed Through Autopsy
However, the autopsy report revealed that the cause of death was strangulation. During police interrogation, Disha confessed to her crime. Both she and her lover have since been arrested.
