Murder Investigation Launched After Body Found in Faridabad
Gruesome Discovery in Anangpur Village
On Thursday, authorities in Anangpur village, located in Faridabad district, uncovered the mutilated body of a 36-year-old man from a rented accommodation. According to police reports, the victim bore marks on his neck consistent with a sharp weapon attack. The deceased has been identified as Sadakat Ali, a resident of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh.
Sadakat had been residing in the rented room for the past four months and worked as a painter in the Omaxe Society. The police revealed that Anita, a tenant from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, also lived in the same house and was employed as a cleaner in the Omaxe Society. The two reportedly developed a romantic relationship after becoming acquainted.
However, upon the landlord discovering their relationship, Anita was instructed to vacate the premises. A complaint filed by Sadakat's brother, Najakat Ali, indicated that about 15 days prior, Anita had moved to another rented room in the Domka neighborhood of Anangpur, where Sadakat frequently visited her.
The complaint alleges that on July 23, Sadakat left home claiming he was heading to Aligarh but never returned. His mobile phone was also turned off. When Najakat attempted to reach out to Anita, she allegedly denied that Sadakat had visited her. Furthermore, the complaint accuses Anita of conspiring with another individual to lure Sadakat to her rented room, where he was reportedly murdered four to five days ago.
Following the incident, the room was locked from the outside, and both suspects fled the scene. Police confirmed that on Thursday, they discovered Sadakat's dismembered body in the room. Based on the complaint, the Surajkund police have initiated a murder case against Anita.
Surajkund police station chief Prahlad Singh stated, "A murder case has been registered against the suspect Anita. The investigation is ongoing, and all facts surrounding the incident will be revealed upon its completion."
