Tragic Incident in Hyderabad

A leader from the Communist Party of India was fatally shot on Tuesday morning by unknown assailants in the Malakpet region of Hyderabad, according to reports from local news sources.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 AM at a park located in Shalivahana Nagar, where K Chandu Rathod, also known as Chandu Nayak, was out for his morning walk, as stated by South East Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police S Chaitanya Kumar.

Authorities revealed that three or four attackers arrived in a vehicle, used chili powder to blind Rathod, and then opened fire, resulting in his immediate death. They escaped the scene in the same car.

The police transported Rathod's remains to a hospital for further examination.

A murder investigation has been initiated under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.

Law enforcement is currently reviewing security footage from the park and surrounding areas. They are also investigating whether Rathod had any known enemies who might have had a motive for the attack.

Communist Party of India leader K Narayana mentioned that Rathod had previously received threats. He noted that Rathod had been implicated in a murder case in the past, suggesting that this incident may stem from personal animosity rather than political motives. Further details are being gathered.
