New Deadline for CPET Applications Announced


Bhubaneswar: The deadline for submitting applications for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) has been postponed once more.


Students now have until March 22 at 11:45 PM to complete their applications via the SAMS portal by using the Common Application Form (CAF).


Previously, the cutoff was set for March 18.


This extension was made by the Higher Education (HE) department to accommodate the interests and future opportunities for students.


The CPET is essential for those aiming to enroll in postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026–27, with admissions determined by the scores obtained in the entrance exam.


Additionally, the HE department aims to initiate PG courses in universities and colleges by July 10.
