Court Orders Provisional Appointments Amid Controversy Over Teacher Recruitment Exam
Controversy Surrounds Teacher Recruitment Exam Results
Judicial Intervention in Teacher Recruitment Dispute
Jaipur. The examination conducted by the Employee Selection Board has come under scrutiny. The Level 2 Teacher Recruitment Exam held in 2022 has faced objections from candidates regarding several questions. Upon announcing the results, candidates raised concerns about inaccuracies in the answers provided. In response, the board established a committee to reassess the answer key, resulting in changes to approximately 18 questions, with some being removed entirely. This led to a revised outcome, affecting the scores of many candidates—some saw their marks increase while others decreased. Those who received higher scores are now expressing frustration, as they find themselves without jobs while those with lower scores are employed.
After the government failed to address their grievances, the candidates approached the court, which subsequently issued an order for provisional appointments. However, despite the court's directive, candidates are still navigating bureaucratic hurdles in their quest for employment, with no resolution in sight.
Candidates have stated that if their demands are not met soon, they will resort to peaceful protests, including hunger strikes.
