Cooperative Education Camp Held in Bharmaur to Empower Members

The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Development Federation hosted a one-day educational camp aimed at the managing committees and members of cooperative societies in the Bharmaur block. This event took place at the auditorium of the Mini Secretariat in Bharmaur, attracting approximately 60 participants from various cooperative societies.
During the session, Balwant Singh, a Cooperative Education Instructor from Nurpur, shared essential insights regarding the rights and responsibilities of cooperative society members. He emphasized the fundamental principles of cooperation and the vital role that members play in ensuring the effective operation of these societies.
Balvinder Singh, the Principal of the Cooperative Training Center in Garly, also addressed the attendees, providing an overview of the Himachal Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act along with relevant cooperative regulations. He elaborated on important provisions that promote transparency, accountability, and smooth operations within cooperative institutions.
The camp featured interactive discussions, allowing participants to pose questions on various cooperative issues and receive expert advice. The main goal of this initiative was to enhance awareness among cooperative members regarding their rights, responsibilities, and the governing rules of cooperative societies.
