Allegations of Fraud in Marriage

In Muzaffarnagar, Anukool Kuchhal, who operates the Tarang Music Center, has raised serious allegations against nine individuals, including Sanjay Mittal, the provincial president of the All India Industry Trade Association, claiming they orchestrated a fraudulent marriage. Following a court order, a case has been registered at the New Mandi police station.

Kuchhal asserts that Mittal conspired to marry him off to the daughter of his driver without any dowry. He claims that the marriage was rushed under pressure, leading to a court marriage followed by a social ceremony.

After the wedding, the bride reportedly refused to engage in physical relations and declined to visit a doctor despite repeated requests. When taken to a medical facility, she allegedly refused to undergo any examinations, claiming she was incomplete.

Eventually, the bride returned to her family home at the insistence of her relatives. She later returned with her younger sister and took valuable jewelry worth lakhs from the house, also verbally abusing the family. Following these events, Kuchhal filed a petition in court to annul the marriage registration.

The bride has since filed a case against her in-laws in family court. Kuchhal has accused his wife of being a Manglik, and he has also alleged that Mittal and others threatened him while holding him captive.

The New Mandi police have initiated an investigation based on the court's directive, registering a case against Mittal, Hari Shankar Sharma, Ganesh, Omkar Kashyap, and others. The victim had previously submitted complaints to officials, and after no action was taken, he sought the court's intervention. CO Mandi Rupali Roy confirmed that the investigation is underway as per the court's orders. Meanwhile, Mittal has denied the allegations, stating he will present his side in court.
