According to reports, the son took his stepmother to court, where they proceeded to get married. After their marriage, both of them went missing. The father has lodged a complaint with the police, but officials stated that both individuals are adults.
The father recounted, 'My wife passed away, and after her death, I remarried. I was living with my minor son at home. During this time, a romantic relationship developed between my son and his stepmother. They decided to elope and marry without our knowledge, taking valuables and jewelry with them.'
He further explained that his son used to show respect to his stepmother, but he was unaware of when their relationship turned romantic, leading to their elopement. The father informed the police that they absconded with ₹30,000, jewelry, and other valuable items.
Police Response to the Incident
When the father approached the police with his complaint, he claimed that his son was a minor, which would render their marriage illegal.
