It is alleged that Neetu Bugalia, the SP of Telecommunications, insulted Director Daulatram Atal based on his caste, prompting legal action under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

According to reports, the meeting, chaired by Additional Director General of Police (Cyber Crime and Technical Services) V.K. Singh, took place on the evening of March 5.
