Fire Incident at Education Ministry Sparks Concerns


New Delhi: On Monday, the Congress party voiced its apprehensions regarding a fire incident that erupted on the second floor of the Ministry of Education's office, situated within the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) campus in the ITO area of central Delhi.


Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.


Jairam Ramesh, the Congress general secretary responsible for communications, expressed his worries about the fire, labeling the situation as suspicious.


He took to X to share his concerns, stating that the occurrence is indeed troubling.


The Delhi Fire Service was alerted to the fire at approximately 9:37 AM and promptly dispatched eight firefighting units to the scene. The fire has since been contained.


Officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which remains undetermined.
