Congress Takes Action Against Alleged Election Irregularities
On Monday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge announced that the INDIA bloc has decided to send a letter to the Chief Justice of India regarding a Special Intensive Review (SIR), which raises allegations of vote theft and electoral fraud.
Speaking to the media after a high-level meeting with opposition coalition partners in New Delhi, Kharge confirmed that there is a consensus to dispatch the letter to the Chief Justice as soon as possible. He emphasized that the letter addressing the SIR, vote theft, and electoral malpractice will be submitted shortly. Additionally, Kharge stated that the INDIA bloc has unanimously resolved to demand the immediate resignation of the Union Education Minister due to alleged irregularities affecting students appearing for NEET and CBSE examinations.

Kharge remarked, "There is a unanimous agreement to call for the immediate resignation of the Education Minister, as he has betrayed millions of young individuals preparing for NEET and CBSE exams." He provided a detailed outline of the coalition's immediate action plan focused on youth, institutional integrity, and a sustainable united opposition front. Furthermore, Kharge mentioned that coalition partners will convene every two months to review national politics and coordinate strategies. The next formal meeting of the INDIA bloc leaders is scheduled for August 8, with future dates to be determined and communicated as needed.

As the Parliament's monsoon session approaches, the coalition is also strengthening its legislative strategy. Strategy meetings for all coalition partners will be regularly held at the Leader of Opposition's office to ensure a united front against the ruling party on a daily basis. It was agreed that the central government should promptly convene an all-party meeting to discuss pressing issues such as the current fragile economic situation, unemployment, inflation, farmers' concerns, and other public-centric matters. All parties will meet every two months, with daily morning meetings at the Leader of Opposition's office during the monsoon session to maintain parliamentary coordination.
