Congress Intensifies Campaign Against Alleged Voter Fraud

The Congress party has intensified its campaign against alleged voter fraud by releasing a provocative video that labels the Election Commission as the 'Election Theft Commission.' The video depicts individuals misleading voters at a polling station, prompting Congress leaders to urge citizens to protect their voting rights. Rahul Gandhi has claimed significant vote theft in Karnataka's Bengaluru Central constituency, while the Election Commission has dismissed these allegations. This campaign aims to mobilize public support ahead of the upcoming elections.

Congress Launches Campaign Against Voter Fraud

In a bid to address alleged irregularities in voter lists, the Congress party has ramped up its campaign by releasing a video on Wednesday, urging citizens to join their cause and labeling the Election Commission as the 'Election Theft Commission.'

The opposition party shared a one-minute video across its various social media platforms, depicting two individuals exiting a polling station who inform an elderly man and woman that they should leave as their votes have already been cast.

The video prominently features the phrase 'Election Theft' in reference to the Election Commission.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shared a video on 'X', urging, 'Do not let your voting rights be taken away. Question, demand answers this time. Raise your voice against 'vote theft' and liberate constitutional institutions from BJP's grasp.'

Additionally, party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also shared the video, encouraging the public to support Congress's initiative.

Last Thursday, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi referenced data from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, claiming that over one lakh votes were 'stolen' in the Mahadevapura assembly segment of the Bengaluru Central constituency, where the Congress candidate lost by a margin of 32,000 votes.

The Election Commission dismissed Gandhi's claims as baseless, stating that he should either provide an affidavit or apologize.
