₹40 Lakh Drinking Water Initiative Approaching Final Stages in Khuli

A new main gate is set to be built in Bhat Nala village to honor martyr Karan Singh, with an estimated budget of ₹1.6 lakh. Additionally, a significant drinking water pipeline project valued at ₹40 lakh in Khuli village is nearing its completion and is anticipated to be inaugurated for public use by December.
During the “Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar” event held at Bhat Nala, Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, who serves as the District APMC Chairman and President of the State Congress OBC Department, assured the local residents that their issues would be promptly addressed. He reiterated the state government's dedication to comprehensive rural development, focusing on enhancing basic facilities at the panchayat level.
Mongra pointed out that the Kangra constituency has experienced significant growth over the last three years, with numerous projects being prioritized and expedited under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He emphasized that the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government is implementing transformative initiatives and multi-crore development plans aimed at revitalizing the agriculture-based economy.
The event was well-attended by Panchayat Pradhan Kulwant Singh, ward members, women’s groups, and other esteemed villagers, showcasing strong community backing for these projects.
