Community Unites Against Drug Abuse in Nurpur's Ongoing Campaign

The 'Nasha Mukt Nurpur, Chitta Mukt Nurpur' campaign, initiated by the Idea of Bharat Foundation, has reached its 10th panchayat, Kot-Palahri. Local leaders and residents gathered to discuss the pressing issue of drug abuse and the collective responsibility to address it. Foundation President Rahul Sharma emphasized the importance of engaging youth in sports and education as a preventive measure. The campaign aims to foster community involvement and will continue with further dialogues and awareness programs in upcoming panchayats, reinforcing the commitment to a drug-free Nurpur.

The "Nasha Mukt Nurpur, Chitta Mukt Nurpur" campaign, initiated by the Idea of Bharat Foundation on September 20, has successfully reached its 10th panchayat, Kot-Palahri. Residents gathered to address the pressing issues of drug addiction, the future of the youth, and the shared responsibility of the community in combating this challenge.


Local leaders, including Pradhan Kamlesh Rani, Deputy Pradhan Kuldeep Singh Thakur, Rajiv Kumar, Surjan, and Dev Raj Chak, joined the community in a commitment to enhance awareness and steer the youth towards constructive activities.



The President of the Foundation, Rahul Sharma, highlighted that reaching ten panchayats signifies an increase in community involvement. He pointed out that the campaign's goal is not just to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs but also to engage youth, families, and panchayats in collaborative solutions. He stressed the importance of connecting young individuals with sports, education, skills, and creative endeavors as a crucial preventive measure.


The initiative will persist with discussions and awareness activities in future panchayats, reinforcing the community's commitment to a drug-free Nurpur.
