The 'Nasha Mukt Nurpur, Chitta Mukt Nurpur' initiative celebrated its 12th milestone with a comprehensive awareness campaign conducted door-to-door in Gaheen Lagod Panchayat. This event saw active participation from families and community members who engaged in meaningful discussions about addressing drug-related issues.


The outreach aimed to foster a collective understanding of how families and the community can unite to combat the drug menace. Discussions underscored the significance of steering youth towards sports, education, and creative pursuits, while promoting open communication within families to enhance awareness.


Key figures such as Gram Panchayat Pradhan Karam Singh Kama, Zila Parishad Member Anoop Rana, and former Up-Pradhan Satpal Sharma joined local residents in emphasizing the necessity of ongoing awareness initiatives against substance abuse.


In his address, Rahul Sharma, President of Idea of Bharat Foundation, highlighted that the goal of the door-to-door campaign extends beyond merely conveying a message; it aims to engage the community as active participants in the movement. He noted that a robust social framework against drugs can be established when panchayat leaders, families, and youth collaborate.


Rahul Sharma further mentioned that the campaign will persist in reaching various panchayats, attentively listening to community concerns and promoting dialogue to develop localized solutions.
